The New Moon preview has been released and I for one am excited. It is a little disconcerting that they just finished filming and are already releasing material, but I won't complain too much. New Moon was not my favorite book since I am Team Edward and it is a very depressing story. I enjoy the growing friendship between Bella and Jacob; and am amazed by the back 1/3 of the book. Seeing the preview for the movie, insured I would be there opening weekend to see the movie.
The special effects and make-up are much improved from the first movie. Yes, I'll admit Taylor looks really nice as Jacob, but I truly like him as the character. I am concerned with the piece from the break-up scene. I hope there is more emotion in the actual scene because it was heart-breaking in the book (I know for Team Edward only), but it reminded me of some bad break-ups I've had and that horrible resulting feeling.
Here's to looking forward to more previews and November 2009. Tell me what you think of the preview.

You know how I felt about the first movie. However I'm very excited for this movie. I agree regarding the breakup scene they showed that it should be more emotional. I just hope New Moon wont be let down for me as Twilight was. I'm sad for the release date cause I have no one to go with me to watch it. - JoAnn
You can take a weekend flight up here and see it with Erin, Becky, and I (I'm calling GNO that weekend cause I have to see it with my "Twilight" friends). We're a great group to see the movie with.
Or you can ask Michelle to see it with you down there. She hasn't read the book yet (she's been holding out), but she'll cave soon enough. But no stealing my BF, you can just borrow her.
I'm glad you called the official GNO for that one! & I'm happy Jasper will have some better make-up to work with. As far as the crazy stare. . . well, that's up to him :)

I'd be happy to go with you Jo, but I need to read the book first, though I do have some time to get that done. Maybe I will put it off for a little longer ;-)

Looking forward to November GNO! The break-up scene (in the book) was heartbreaking for me as well.
