My Projects this Summer

Last fall, I told you about the projects that had occupied my time, so I thought I would share my current summer projects. I know this blog is supposed to focus on well me ... and my writing. I'm pleased to announce that I have completed and edited 60,000 words of my continuing project. I'm actually done with the whole book, but I'm currently in the editing process. Besides catching grammatical errors, I'm catching plot lines that seemed to disappear whenever I took a break. It's been a fun but grueling process. My goal is to have it ready for Miss Michelle to read on our trip. I'll have to wait until after the trip to show you my knitting projects, since one of them is a gift for someone's birthday. As for my flowers, they've turned out lovely this year. I went back to get some of the "pink" ones but this time in purple, pink, and white variations. My cat mint survived the winter and re-potting process and I tried my hand at some New Guinea impatiens. I had to buy the impatiens to go with my darling coffee cup and saucer shaped flower planter. Love it! So there you have it, my summer projects, which will segue into my fall projects.

I can't believe you have developed a green thumb up there. I can remember when any plant in your vicinity died. ;-)
